FAQ
Questions answered with the same clarity the work is shaped with.
A clear guide to booking, pricing, delivery, retouching, usage, and how each project moves from first idea to final image.
Before booking
The practical details should feel simple. The creative direction should have room to breathe.
How it works
The process stays clear without making the project feel rigid.
Every project starts by understanding what the images need to do: where they will live, what they should communicate, and what feeling should hold the final set together.
For a broader view of the work available, you can explore the photography services, view selected fashion photography, or see event photography examples before reaching out.
Before the shoot
What usually needs to be clear.
A few details help shape the quote, timeline, creative direction, and final delivery.
Scope
Project type, location, timeline, image count, usage, budget, and any references you already have.
Direction
Mood, lighting, composition, styling, movement, atmosphere, and the visual language of the final set.
Finish
Editing, retouching, export formats, delivery timing, and how the images are prepared for use.
Questions
Details that help the project move with more intention.
Start with the type of image you need. Fashion and ecommerce are usually built around garments, styling, and consistency. Product work is shaped around object presence, texture, and usage. Events focus on atmosphere, movement, and documentation. If the project sits between categories, send the idea through the contact page and I’ll help place it clearly.
Include the project type, desired date, location, approximate budget, number of final images, references, usage needs, and any deadline you are working toward. It does not need to be perfect. A rough idea is enough to begin shaping the right direction. You can also start with the estimate page if you want a clearer pricing frame first.
Yes. Direction can include mood, lighting approach, composition, pacing, styling notes, location choices, and how the final set should feel together. The goal is not to over-control the shoot, but to make sure the images have a clear visual point of view.
Fashion and event projects generally begin around $500 CAD. Product and still life projects generally begin around $400 CAD. Larger productions, extended retouching, studio rental, licensing, or expanded creative direction are quoted based on scope. For a more detailed view, visit the services page or build a starting quote through the estimate tool.
A deposit may be required to secure the date, especially for larger projects, commercial work, or shoots that require planning in advance. The remaining balance is usually due before or upon final delivery, depending on the project agreement.
Delivery depends on the size of the project and the level of retouching required. Smaller shoots may be delivered sooner, while campaigns, ecommerce sets, event coverage, or detailed retouching require more time. Rush delivery can be discussed before booking when the timeline is tight.
The amount of final images depends on the package and project scope. A smaller session may include a focused final set, while ecommerce, campaign, event, or product work may require a larger delivery. The final image count is confirmed before the shoot.
Basic editing and image polish are included in most photography projects. More advanced retouching, skin work, product cleanup, background refinement, garment cleanup, or high-volume post-production can be quoted separately depending on the level of finish needed.
Usage depends on the project agreement. Social media, portfolio, ecommerce, paid ads, print, campaign, and licensing needs can all affect the quote. If the images are for a brand, launch, product, or campaign, include where they will be used in your inquiry.
Both are possible. Studio work is useful when control, consistency, and lighting precision matter. Location work can bring more atmosphere, movement, and context. The best option depends on the visual direction and practical needs of the project.
Yes. Retouching can be booked as a standalone service for photographers, brands, and creative teams. The quote depends on the number of images, file quality, retouching complexity, and the final finish required.
Clarity
The details matter because they protect the creative work.
When the scope, timing, usage, and delivery are understood, the shoot can move with more focus, more calm, and a stronger visual direction.
